Over the last twenty years, veteran composer James McVay has scored 35 films and over two hundred episodes of television, and has written and performed many featured songs for these shows as well. He has arranged and produced countless albums and sessions for a number of independent artists in Los Angeles, and continues to record and tour as a solo performer.

McVay is a multi-instrumentalist who plays practically anything with strings, and arranges and conducts 90 piece orchestras as comfortably as he picks a pedal steel. His background and study of classical music and jazz, his varied film and television work, combined with many years as a touring musician and performer, have given him an extremely wide musical vocabulary to draw from. His fluency in translating visual images into music is surpassed only by his creativity and seasoned professionalism, and he will run the creative side of our LA studios and office.
