Having spent a number of years working in music marketing, film production and post, as well as the last 10 years art directing commercials and music videos with some of the biggest artists and directors in LA, he has a unique perspective on the pairing of music and film.

Creating and producing music for subversion: is the culmination of a lifelong dream of a creative space that would produce incredible music, art, film, and careers under one roof.

Colleen’s considerable experience in corporate sales and visual art, combined with her passion for music and film allow her to perform several roles in our organization. She works with a number of clients and is instrumental in creative decisions from design to music production, and is expanding our relationships with film and visual artists.

John has a long and varied career in music, ranging from college radio and music retail to corporate sales, marketing, and the running of several independent labels. He recently returned to Southern California after handling tour press and media buying for Telarc in Cleveland, and online marketing for TowerRecords.com.

John is currently handling West Coast representation for subversion:, but will head up the LA office and studios opening this summer. His consistently calm demeanor, vast experience working with artists,  excellent reputation in the corporate world, and encyclopedic knowledge of recordings and the people who created them, make him brilliantly qualified to handle the production and representation of musical artists.
