Sherby grew up in North Carolina studying classical piano from the age of 4, and writing songs from the age of 9.  She won national piano competitions during her early years and studied voice and composition at UT, Knoxville.

As a recording artist, Sherby charted nationally with the single “Spellbound” from her self-titled debut album. Her second release “Starfish Lane” is all about her life... living by the ocean, love, and all things groovy.  Sherby has a timeless rock/pop sound and an authenticity that never goes out of style. Sentimental yet intense, with a distinctly southern flavor.

In her spare time, Sherby is head of production at Media Arts Lab, a division of TBWA\Chiat\Day. She also heads up a children’s charity called Likwid Joy, which is designed to bring self-esteem and inner freedom to disadvantaged youth through music.
