David Althen brings years of live performance experience to his diverse compositional work. As a singer, drummer, and keyboardist, he has toured with a number of rock and jazz bands, and gained recognition drumming for the award winning, NYC-based underground trip-hop/fusion band, Miscellaneous Flux.

Now working with subversion:music and Human Factor in Washington DC, he adds a fresh feel to the lineup, with unique combinations of style and instrumentation that consistently push the envelope.
